I'm much more comfortable doing traditional over digital. I did this last year before Christmas.
This is a piece I did with permission, inspired by a youtube tutorial.

I tried to do my own take on the character, and really like her blond hair, but the photo totally washed in out. :/
She still seems stiff, but I was pretty happy with the coloring.
